About the Role

4 Paws Mobile Spa has been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years. The Company is family-owned and prides itself on delivering high levels of care and service to pets and their owners. We treat all pets as if they were our own.


Our team of professional Dog and Cat Groomers offer a range of dog and cat grooming treatments either from one of our specially converted Mobile Spas or from our Cranleigh Boutique Spa.


As we are expanding, we are looking for an Office Coordinator to join the team.


The successful applicant will be based in our office near Rudgwick.


You will work as part of a small, supportive team in a busy office. You will be responsible for the day to day scheduling of our mobile grooming team, booking appointments, verifying payment details and problem solving.


Your duties will include:


1. Answering incoming phone calls and updating client details.

2. Dealing with email correspondence from new and existing clients.

3. Booking appointments, ensuring our groomers are in the right place at the right time.

4. Verifying and inputing client details and ensuring payment details are up to date.

5. Support the grooming and operations team.

6. Helping our clients with advice about pet care both before and after appointments.


We are looking for:


An animal lover with a knowledge of different dog & cat breeds.

Common sense - which is much more important than formal qualifications in this role.

Excellent customer service skills and experience – a good telephone manner, with good email skills

An ability to work well and manage effectively when under pressure

Good communication skills and a strong attention to detail

Patience, as sometimes clients’ needs can be complex

Computer skills – in particular using the Microsoft 365 Suite (Word and Outlook)

Experience of working in a veterinary practice or an animal charity organisation would also be helpful

A Full UK driver’s licence is required

This is a Full-time position. Full training will be provided.
