About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dog Grooming Salon Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional grooming services for dogs. Our busy Cranleigh salon prides itself on providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our client’s pets, and we need a passionate and skilled manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the grooming staff, ensuring that all services are provided to the highest standards and in accordance with our salon's policies and procedures
Carry out your own grooms to the highest standards
Schedule and coordinate appointments, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow
Provide exceptional customer service, including answering client inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring all clients are satisfied with the services provided
Oversee stock management and ordering of supplies, equipment, and products needed for the salon
Maintain a clean and safe salon environment
Ensure that all dogs are properly cared for during their time in the salon.
Manage staff schedules, and ensure that all staff members are trained in proper grooming techniques
Stay up-to-date on the latest grooming trends and techniques, and implement new services as appropriate
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a busy dog grooming salon
A City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, clients, and suppliers
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of grooming professionals
Knowledge of dog breeds, grooming techniques, and equipment
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
The role is five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.00 to 5.00
